Come join us for a day-long retreat for young professionals and anyone post-undergrad who is looking for an opportunity to connect, relax, reset, and renew. Young professionals often experience similar challenges and this retreat will address and provide space to discuss and explore common themes such as impostor syndrome, establishing connections, managing anxiety and more. This retreat is for any young professional looking for a meaningful day of connection, reflection and personal growth.
The day will begin with fun activities to introduce the group to one another, followed by mindfulness and movement for grounding and stress relief, group discussions, journaling and intention-setting. The afternoon session will feature a large group activity exploring a common challenge, followed by discussion and reflection.
Please bring a lunch, yoga mat, blankets or camp chair, a journal and extra clothes in case of inclement weather. We will be meeting at the Seneca Lodge, a covered pavilion that is open to the air on three sides, and located on beautiful Davitt Lake at the Rotary Scout Camp!
We request that all participants be vaccinated. We understand that some participants may not be vaccinated or fully vaccinated, and to mitigate any risk we will be asking participants to wear masks for activities with movement. Participants will be given the option to remove masks for group discussions with ample space between participants. Any concerns or individual needs for social distancing will be addressed and honored, and we will discuss these openly at the start of the day.
*New this year: We are excited to announce that we are now offering a post-retreat follow-up group to continue the group experience and support continued individual growth between retreats! We will discuss details at the retreat.
