Project Description

Equine Assisted Learning

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) for Teens

EAL is a whole-body learning experience for teens in a sensory rich environment, which provides a fuller integration of learning concepts than in a traditional classroom or institutional setting. In the arena, students explore such themes as teamwork, safety and trust, communication, problem-solving, and much more. Organizations and schools can contract with Greenstone to help teens explore socio-emotional growth or to further reinforce academic concepts learned at school.

EAL groups meet at Grace Reins Farm in rural Nassau County. Please contact Jill with any questions and to arrange your Teen Group EAL Experience.
